This dynamic garden has been created, like Citroën cars, to adapt seamlessly to the evolving rhythms of family life. Designed around three core modes of living – Chill, Host, and Play – it transforms effortlessly to meet the needs of every family member.
Hidden seating and storage to pack away clutter, a gently bubbling water feature, and a minimalist planting scheme with soft greens, ornamental grasses, and calming textures, provide a zen retreat to chill.
A pop-up bar with built-in cooler and prep space, fold out benches, outdoor speakers, and discreet lighting zones make entertaining effortless when hosting. The innovative and multifunctional utility wall with built-in swing, slide, and climbing wall conceals a hidden den, offering endless opportunities to play.
This is a garden that works hard for the whole family – a living space that evolves with your day, your guests, and your imagination.
About the designer
Designer information
Joshua Fenton took his first steps into a career in horticulture at the age of 14 when he began working in a large private garden. Later, at art college, he developed a love of land art. After time travelling and working on farms around the world, he returned to horticulture, completed his RHS Level 3, and founded Fenton Gardens in 2019.
Since then, the studio has won multiple awards from the Association of Professional Landscapers, BBC Gardeners’ World Live, and the RHS Chelsea 2025. Joshua describes his style as “contemporary chaotic romance”. This is his first Show Garden at Bloom.
