Design a Show Garden

As the centrepiece of Bord Bia Bloom, the Show Gardens bring some of the most innovative garden designers and landscape architects from Ireland and overseas, together with skilled landscapers, growers, and horticulturalists, to create imaginative displays that inspire the festival’s 90,000 visitors and attending media. They are an important platform for industry talent and a cornerstone on which many of Ireland’s top designers have built their businesses.

Applications for Bloom 2027 are now open! 

In a bid to support the next generation of garden designers and horticulture professionals, Bord Bia Bloom launched Cultivating Talent in 2022. This exciting initiative provides funding and one-to-one mentoring to an emerging designer, helping them to design and deliver their first Show Garden at the festival.

If you are currently working in the industry or embarking on a career in horticulture and if you have the drive, ambition and commitment to bring a garden to Bord Bia Bloom, then we want to hear from you. The following documents are designed to help guide you through the application process.
