About the garden - medium garden
Sponsored by Marks & Spencer, this garden explores the relationship between food, craft and trust within the Irish landscape. Here edible and ornamental planting are woven together to celebrate seasonality, provenance and the beauty of productive landscapes.
A raised platform provides a space to gather, share food and dine, forming the social focus of the garden. A timber structure rises through and supports this space, representing the role of farming in holding everything together. It reflects the people and systems we rely on whose work allows us to come together and enjoy quality food that we can trust.
The garden invites visitors to pause, observe and reconnect with the origins of what we consume. It is a space that speaks quietly but with intent, highlighting that trust is grown over time through consistency, integrity and attention to detail – virtues that are the hallmark of Marks & Spencer’s offering in Ireland.
