About the Garden - Feature Garden
Marking 20 years of Bord Bia Bloom, the 20th Edition Bloom Gallery Garden celebrates two decades of horticultural excellence.
Inspired by pocket park design, it offers a calm, reflective space that brings together planting, seating and urban design to honour the legacy of Ireland’s garden community. Visitors are invited to walk through the space, engaging with gallery walls that display iconic imagery from past Show Gardens alongside the stories of the designers, judges, and teams who have shaped Bloom over the years.
The space is further enriched by a curated exhibition of 20 sculptures from The Kildare Gallery which are integrated throughout.
The project is a collaborative team effort from Maeve O’Neill, landscape architect; Mark Mohan, Silverstream Handcrafted Landscapes; Kieran Dunne, Kildare Growers Group; Jody Judge, Yellow Furze Nurseries; Matt Lohan, Woodstock Trees & Shrubs; and Ruth Liddle and Ken Folan of The Kildare Gallery.

What is planned for this garden after Bloom?
Key elements of this garden will be retained by the Bord Bia Bloom team and reused in future festivals, including the steel picture frames, benches, and raised steel beds. Plants that have been rented will return to the growers; any supplementary plants will be rehomed after the festival. The sculptures on display will return to The Kildare Gallery.
