Cultivating Talent
Now in its fourth year, Bloom’s Cultivating Talent programme nurtures upcoming talent in the industry by providing one emerging designer with funding and mentoring to help them deliver their first Bloom Show Garden. This year’s winner is Jack Donovan (see his design here).
What is the difference between a show garden, concept show garden, and a feature garden?
There are nineteen show gardens and one feature garden at Bloom this year. The show gardens are split into four categories: Large, Medium, Small and Concept. Concept gardens are artistic installations or abstract exhibits, while all other show gardens are designed to suit residential gardens or balconies. The feature gardens are special garden displays that are not entered into the show gardens competition.
