About the garden - Medium garden
Nature in Balance highlights the merits of organic farming that actively protects water, soil and biodiversity while producing healthy, wholesome food that is, by its nature, also low carbon.
Pasture gently sweeps down to enclose a modern rustic farmyard, a social space shaped by a stone wall and natural materials rooted in the land.
A slim profile pergola shades a farmyard table, the focal point of the space, displaying locally produced food alongside pots of herbs and vegetables. From here, pasture planting transitions into naturalistic, pollinator-friendly planting, while a stone cattle drinker introduces water, supporting wildlife and biodiversity, and reflecting a system shaped by nature and farming practice.

What is planned for this garden after Bloom?
The main structure, stone wall, paving, water feature, pergola, and sculpture will be reused in other garden projects post-Bloom. The meadow sward will be returned and reinstated to the farm from which it came. The trees and plants will all be reused in various charity and school gardens and in other garden projects.
